It is I, the Great Garbanzo, reporting from Yerevan, Armenia, in the cradle of culinary civilization as we know it today. On this blog I’ll be sharing my recipes, twists on old favorites, and my attempts at what I thought were impossible to reproduce in my humble kitchen. I’ll be commenting on some wines I’ve sipped, either locally produced or imported. I will also do some café as well as restaurant reviews, and they won’t always be stellar. Expect frank reporting, from the heart, no beating around the bush, no holding back. Be warned–the Great Garbanzo never bullshits his way through a restaurant or recipe.
